Ordering a Blackford & Sons Floor
Handcrafted in our manufacturing facility in Middle Tennessee, Blackford & Sons floors are milled to suite virtually any budget. We believe that you should never feel pressured into making a quick decision and we are attentive to your ideas and share our experiences as well as any ideas we think may suite your particular tastes, budget, and needs. We will gladly work in cooperation with your builder/contractor or interior designer to further simplify the selection process. At whatever point you feel you have finalized your selection and are ready to order, just give us a call and we’ll get things started. We will stay with you every step of the way from the selection process to ordering, delivery, and installation of your floor. We are focused on providing the very best customer experience and as such we treat your time frames and deadlines with utmost importance.
Shipping & Delivery
Blackford & Sons floors are generally delivered via common carrier, such as Con-way or Yellow Freight, anywhere in the contiguous 48 states.
Trucks range from around 36 to 65 feet long, so it is important to keep in mind that the truck will need to access the delivery site, park, and be able to turn around. If you believe difficulties may arise with this, please let us know and we’ll gladly make other delivery arrangements for your floor.
Larger flooring orders of 3,500 square feet or more may be delivered on a flatbed which is around 65 feet in length, so we will want to discuss the ease of access of your location to have room for this type of delivery truck.
About one week in advance of your shipping date you or your builder will receive a call from Blackford & Sons so that you know when your floor is leaving our facility and we will go over everything needed for the delivery of your floor to go smoothly. Generally a day or so in advance of the delivery date, the freight carrier will call you with confirmation and an estimated arrival time.
